About the event
The SOBA UK Winter Scientific Meeting returns to London on Friday 4 December 2026.
Following the success of WSM 2025, this year we are moving to One Birdcage Walk, Westminster, with a larger main auditorium and dedicated breakout spaces. WSM 2026 will bring together experts from anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, obesity medicine and surgery for a varied programme of clinical updates, new research, debate and practical learning.
The developing programme includes updates on weight-loss medications and the GLIMPSE study, perioperative obesity strategy, an OSA debate, oral presentations and an expanded programme of practical workshops.
More speakers and the full programme will be announced shortly.
